There is a girl I work with who I think I might quite like to go out with. She has hinted to me she is interested too.

Problem is, I don’t want to screw up my career or be the subject of office gossip. We work in a small place, 50 staff, everyone knows what is going on with everyone else!

I have generally taken the view in the past that going out with someone from work is to be avoided. I did it once before, and it went wrong after a month and we were both the subject of the office gossip!!

I quite like this girl but am not 100% I would want to be going out with her. If there was no work connection I would go for it.

I am starting to think I should sound her out, but make clear to her I want to be discrete, especially at the start.

Any tips on how I do it? Any date tips that re pretty casual? Any thoughts on office romances?
